Q. How much does it cost to hire the Hall?

Q. What facilities does the Hall have?
A. The main Hall (The Brook Memorial Hall) has a solid wood floor with a raised stage, stage curtains and a rear stage area. There are chairs and Go-pak folding tables available for users.

There is a dressing room for drama and other productions behind the rear stage and a toilet beside the stage.
There is a separate meeting room (The Runnymede Room) with a soundproof connecting door to the main Hall. This room has its own tables and chairs.

There are toilets, including a toilet for the disabled and a baby-change area.

There is a fitted kitchen with a double oven and separate electric hob, microwave oven and a fridge/freezer.

There is also a large capacity boiling water dispenser.

There are crockery, cutlery, glasses, jugs and some pans and baking sheets available for use.

Lockers are available for rent for regular users.

There is free car parking (capacity in excess of 40 cars) in the local authority car park opposite the Hall on Murray Road.

Q. Can we have a Bouncy Castle?
A. Yes, but please double check the dimensions of both the fully inflated Bouncy
Castle and the Hall, before making your bookings. Please note that the hirer, not the Hall, is responsible for ensuring adequate insurance is in place against damage and injury.

 Q. I have heard about Ottershaw Village Hall’s improvement and fundraising
projects, I want to help, what can I do?
A. Thank you for asking but at present (2022) the Hall is not fund raising for any major project.
However, Ottershaw Village Hall also needs support in kind; if you would like to join
the committee, have any ideas for fundraising events, or any other skills
or relevant knowledge, please contact our chairman, or any other member of the Management Committee (see Contact Us).
